This is the base mix to make our gluten free, white bread. It is a yeast bread with a sourdough texture. It's soft on the inside and has a crusty outer. Amazing fresh and equally delicious toasted next day. This gluten free bread is simple to make with only one proof required. Just add water, dried yeast and either 170g of potato starch or 170g of corn starch - potato will give a slightly chewier texture while corn will be a bit lighter. But they're both delicious with amazing texture. Find full instructions here.
You'll need to add:
170g potato starch OR corn starch
6g dried yeast
400g water
You can also use this base mix to make other delicious loaves like our Wholemeal Bread and Pumpkin Fruit Bread
Ingredients: Organic tapioca starch, millet flour, sorghum flour, Australian organic sunflower meal, Australian golden flaxseed flour, psyllium husk powder, Australian salt.
