Our self-raising flour contains no added sugars, fats, animal products, minerals, vitamins, artificial colours, flavours or flavour enhancers. It contains less than 10ppm of sulphites. No preservatives are used or added by the company. There is a small amount of sulphur dioxide present in the maize and tapioca starches used. All ingredients are non-genetically modified. The soy and rice flours have been “precooked” and dried (prior to milling) to enhance flavour, convenience and keeping qualities. The leavening agents have been selected to avoid added aluminum, phosphates and any undesirable metallic/chemical flavours and after flavours. Wherever possible, Australian ingredients are used. The gluten free flour products have been continually refined in response to constructive consumer, medical and dietetic feedback combined with extensive products development experience in making gluten and dairy free cakes, etc. Product and recipe development is ongoing. We have sought the best possible balance of flavour, mouth-feel, structure, nutritional quality and keeping properties using natural ingredients.
