Meru Miso Pastes are made by Tasmanian based Chris and Megan de Bono. They’re hand made from Australian biodynamic & organic ingredients using traditional techniques and are individually handcrafted in small batches with limited use of industrial machinery to ensure minimal impact on the environment.
The sweetest of the Meru Miso range, this miso has a delicate sweetness that is balanced against the saltiness with a lingering celery infused umami. The overall profile is reminiscent of parmesan cheese. Slight sour notes may be detected and this should complement the dominant flavours.
